Hideaway Island Resort

Hideaway Island Resort is located on a small coral atoll in Mele Bay, a 15 minute drive from Port Vila and a 5 minute ferry ride from Mele Beach to the island. Power is generated on the island, water is fed from the top of the pristine Cascade Waterfalls and outside of the office there are no phones or faxes.

This Vanuatu accommodation ranges from One Bedroom Bungalows to dorm-style rooms and fresh local cuisine can be savoured at the beachfront restaurant/bar in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Hideaway is one of Vanuatu’s most popular attractions. The island’s reefs and surrounding waters are a marine park and are teeming with hundreds of colourful fish and beautiful corals, ideal for snorkeling or scuba diving right from the shore.

A day on the island can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. As well as snorkeling and scuba diving, you can try sailing and beach volleyball, or use the island as a base for a myriad of other tours & activities…or simply relax on the beach or poolside and enjoy the views of beautiful Mele Bay.
